Lois Lane and the Daily Planets have been in the mainstream of the Boston, Massachusetts music scene for many years. Providing the best in classic rock, blues, rhythm and blues (R & B), funk, dance, rock, and jazz, Lois leaves the crowd begging for more!
As the Leader and Founder of the Daily Planets, Lois has been singing professionally for many years.
Lois lived in London where she was lead singer for Island recording artists Eye Witness. She also lived in Los Angeles where she worked as a recording session singer and performed in many of LA's best blues and rock clubs before settling back to her native Boston area. Lois is from Saugus, MA.
Lois worked the Boston club circuit with jazz greats Phil Wilson, Al Vega, and the original rock band Yo Mama. In addition, Lois has performed with The Average White Band, Stovall Brown, James Montgomery, and the Bluehemians.
Stan Holland, Drummer and Vocalist
Stan Holland is the drummer for Lois Lane and the Daily Planets. Stan hails from Alabama and brings that the deep-south swamp feel to the group! Stan sings lead vocals and background harmonies as well.
Stan came to Boston as a drummer and audio engineer for the United States Air Force music program. He met and married one of the local gals and well, has been here ever since!
Stan has performed with Vanessa Williams, Greg Allman, Bob Hope, members of the Atlanta Rhythm Section, the Blues Brothers Band, and Molly Hatchet and opened for the James Cotton Blues Band, Steppenwolf, Kenny G, Ricky Skaggs and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, among many others.
Jimmy Dennis, Guitarist and Vocalist
Jimmy Dennis is the guitarist and vocalist for Lois Lane and the Daily Planets. Jimmy is from Roslindale, MA and has perfomed with many main artists throughout the years. Jimmy is a phenominal guitarist and wows the crowds!
Joel Ginsberg, Bassist
Joel Ginsberg is the bassist for Lois Lane and the Daily Planets. Joel is from Marblehead, MA and is a graduate of Boston's famed Berklee College of Music.
